High School Student of the Week- Jordan W.

Jordan is in 11th grade, he has been attending Marion for 3 years. His favorite school subject is science, and after he graduates from high school he wants to go to college to become a mechanical engineer. His hobbies include hunting, trapping, and sports. His dream vacation is to go to Europe. His parents are the most influential people in his life, because they push him to try his best in life, for example his athletic career and academics. This year he is most excited for cross country and track season. 

High School Student of the Week- Abby B.

Abby is in the 10th grade and has attended Marion for one full year. Her favorite school subject is science. Her dream vacation is Hawaii with her friends, and her favorite color is lavender. Outside of school Abby likes to dance, bake, and ride horses. Abby’s friends are the most influential people in her life because they help her become the best version of herself. Her proudest moment was when she was 10 years old she got her picture in the newspaper with her buck. After graduation Abby would like to attend Ferris State University culinary arts program. Abby is the most excited to reconnect and spend more time with her friends this year.  

Junior High Student of the Week- Alyssa C.

Alyssa is in the 7th grade, she has been going to Marion for 7 years. After she graduates, she hopes to get into college, get a job and explore the world. Her favorite subject is math, and her hobbies include drawing and dancing. Her favorite colors are white, grey, and dark blue. Her dream vacation is to travel around the world with her best friends, Jaden, Olivia, and Etta. Her most influential person in her life is her step-father because “no matter how tough things get, he just keeps going.” She is most excited about spending time with her friends. 

Junior High Student of the Week- Jamie S.

Jamie is in the 8th grade and has been attending Marion High School her whole life. When Jamie graduates from high school she would like to buy a house. Jamie's favorite subject is art, her hobbies include painting and cooking. Her favorite color is blue and her dream vacation is to go somewhere warm. The most influential person in her life is her mom, “she has always been there and supports me.” Jamie's proudest moment is learning how to do a handstand into a backbend. This school year she is the most excited about having art class.
