Morning Announcements (2/5/21)

Good Morning! Today is Friday, February 5, 2021 and here are today’s announcements:

Any student arriving to class after the tardy bell has rung will receive one (1) tardy for that class period. Riders of a late bus will not be counted tardy. Since the school provides transportation, any students driving or riding in personal vehicles will not be excused.
Any student arriving more than ten (10) minutes late for a class will be counted absent for that class period.
A student’s tardy count shall be reset each marking period. This updated policy began on 2/2/2021.
The following summarizes tardy consequences:

1st Tardy	Student will receive a verbal warning
2nd Tardy	Student will receive/serve lunch detention.
3rd Tardy	Student will receive/serve lunch detention and write a plan in the RTC room
4th Tardy	Student’s Parent(s)/Guardian(s) notified and/or student may lose passing time privileges

Attention ALL Artists! The yearbook class is holding a contest to design this year’s yearbook cover! If your cover is chosen, you will get a FREE yearbook! See Mr. Baldwin for details. The covers are due on February 11th so get your cover designed soon!
Students: The NEW shirts and sweatshirts are here! Winter pom pom beanie hats are also back! See the flyers around MHS to check out the new logo. Contact Ms. Baker or Mrs. Louwers before or after school to make a purchase.
