Good Morning! Today is Thursday, April 20, 2023, and here are today’s announcements:
Seniors: Please fill out the Mock Elections Form sent to you by Mr. Baldwin on Monday. These are due by Friday at 2:50 pm. The form will be closed at that point.
Spring Sports photos will take place on April 21st. Check with your coach for your slotted time as well as your order form. Extra forms are available in the office.
High School– Get your After Prom permission slips TODAY! Pre-registration is required. The deadline is TOMORROW! The cost is $30.00 each. Approved guests are also welcome to attend. Be one of the FIRST to turn in your permission slip and registration fee and get a FREE After Prom t-shirt!
Prom has been scheduled for May 6th at the Olde Mill Venue from 7-11 PM. Tickets will go on sale April 24th-May 5th during High School lunch. Tickets are 1-$20 or 2 for $30. You can also pick up your Guest passes at that time. They will be due to the MHS office no later than May 3rd at 2:50 PM.
AFTER PROM needs adult chaperones (especially the dudes) high school students please check with your parents, aunts & uncles asap. All volunteers must be on the approved volunteer list from a completed volunteer form by Wed. May 3 at the latest.
Spanish Students: We’re going to an Edgar Rene concert at Clare High School! The concert is coming up on April 25th. Tickets cost $15 each. Sign up by Wednesday, 4-19-23 with Ms. Baker.
Any senior who is planning on pursuing a career in Natural Resources or Environmental Study, the Jim Comp Memorial Scholarship is available for you to fill out in the office. Applications are due by May 1. See Mrs. Louwers if you have any questions.
Brooke E. Flint STEM Scholarship for Women application is now available in the office for all high school senior girls who are planning on pursuing a STEM course of study at either a college/university or other post-secondary educational institution. The deadline to apply is May 12th no exceptions. Please see Mrs. Louwers if you have questions.
Friday, the National Honor Society will be hosting a bake sale during MS and HS lunch. Please consider supporting the Marion National Honor Society by leaving a donation and picking up a tasty treat!
