Good Morning! Today is Monday, May 1, 2023, and here are today’s announcements:
AFTER PROM needs adult chaperones (especially the dudes) high school students please check with your parents, aunts & uncles asap. All volunteers must be on the approved volunteer list from a completed volunteer form by Wed. May 3 at the latest.
Prom has been scheduled for May 6th at the Olde Mill Venue from 7-11 PM. Tickets are on sale NOW-May 5th during High School lunch. Tickets are 1-$20 or 2 for $30. You can also pick up your Guest passes at that time. They will be due to the MHS office no later than May 3rd at 2:50 PM.
After Prom FINAL DEADLINE: Please turn in your permission slip and money by Tuesday, May 2nd. NO on-site registrations will be accepted the night of After Prom May 6th.
Prom Court nominations are in. Voting will begin on Friday, May 5th at 8 AM and will end at 3 PM. Be sure to check your email for the Google Form. If you do not receive it, please let Mrs. Kiger know ASAP. Crowning will take place at Prom starting at 9 PM.
Prom Court rehearsal will take place at 2:00 on May 4th in the gym.
Any senior who is planning on pursuing a career in Natural Resources or Environmental Study, the Jim Comp Memorial Scholarship is available for you to fill out in the office. Applications are due by May 1. See Mrs. Louwers if you have any questions.
Brooke E. Flint STEM Scholarship for Women application is now available in the office for all high school senior girls who are planning on pursuing a STEM course of study at either a college/university or other post-secondary educational institution. The deadline to apply is May 12th no exceptions. Please see Mrs. Louwers if you have questions.
A representative from Saginaw Valley State University will be here on Friday, May 12th at 11:35 am. Sign-up is posted by the office.
Students: If you would like to join MPACT or SLS for the 2023-24 school year, you must complete an application before the end of this year. Applications for both groups will be accepted May 4th-18th. For an application to join MPACT, please contact Mrs. Deighton or Ms. Baker. To join SLS you should ask Ms. Baker for an application.
