Regional Track Meet Results, Brethren May 22, 2021
3 was kind of our number today. 3 of our guys qualified for the state meet. We were the 3rd place team, 2 of our 4 relays finished 3rd, and Brad Houck was 3rd in the 200m behind some really great sprinters from MCC and MCGL. It really was a great overall performance for the team in particular in the relays. We posted some exceptional times comparative to the rest of our season, unfortunately, there is no trophy for 3rd... and you don't necessarily qualify for the state meet. In spite of some disappointment in being 'that close' so often today, I couldn't be prouder of their effort. We were led by our state meet qualifiers: McCoy Williams winning the shot, Braden Prielipp winning the HJ, and Mason Salisbury finishing 2nd in the 300LH. Brad Houck also had a good day contributing 22pts with his performances in the 100m, 200m, LJ, and the 4x100m relay.
