Staff, Students, Parents, and Community Members:

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has completed its investigations of the alleged threats made toward Marion Public Schools. The investigations have been turned over to the prosecutor for review.

We have been told that it is safe for the school district to resume all normal activities.

We intend to have an increased police presence in the buildings as we move forward to help ease the concerns of students, staff, and community members, and we will continue to enforce our building safety protocols in an effort to keep staff and students safe.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult times.

 Steve Brimmer

Superintendent

Marion Public Schools
