Ms. Russell’s third grade got to experience the hatching of a monarch butterfly before their eyes. With the help of some watchful students they watched as the chrysalis became clearer and finally hatch. The third graders will be experiencing the entire butterfly life cycle as there are a few caterpillars still in the early stages.





The Marion Chapter of the National Honor Society is hosting its First Blood Drive of the 2024-25 school year in the High School Media Center on Thursday, August 29th, from 10:15 am to 3:15 pm. The Marion HS band has been working hard this week at band camp. Band members have been preparing for their new pre game set-up and the Bon Jovi halftime show. Thank you to all the dedicated band members who have braved the intense heat in order to prepare for an outstanding halftime performance.
