The 7th grade Ancient History class has been studying prehistory during the first few weeks of school. What's one way archeologists know about what was important to these early groups? Due to a lack of written record, we must rely on things like cave art! What's one way we know what is important to modern middle schoolers? Due to Mayer's inability to keep up with the constantly evolving slang, he must rely on things like...Cave Art!
The 7th graders were tasked with painting the most important aspects of their lives.

Marion's Varsity Cross Country Team hit the ground running! Our summer camp included a few days of running and activities at Marion Jr/Sr High School and concluded with an overnight camping trip at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. While there, the team volunteered at the Port Oneida Fair, ran the Dunes trail, and cooled off in Lake Michigan! The first meet of the '25 season was Wednesday, 8/20, which took them through the HILLS of Baker Woods, Hesperia's home course. One of the most difficult courses in the state, it served as a great wake-up call for the '25 Cross Country Season. All runners pushed through this tough course and left with a little piece of Baker Woods to recognize that accomplishment!
