At Marion Public Schools we strive to provide exceptional and personalized education to all students. On August 8th we ask that you vote in the special election to renew our Operating Millage. This renewal will be for a period of five years, 2024-2028, and is inclusive to provide funds for operating purposes. Our Operating Millage is essential to us fulfilling our mission. This millage is a renewal; it will not be a cost increase to homeowners. As always, we thank you for your support.

SEEDS Marion students traveled to Twin Creak Nature Area in Evart, MI. They learned about pollution and how it affects our watershed. They engaged in a lesson about the life of a water droplet. They also learned to identify invasive species and helped clear some of those destructive plants from the bioswale.

Calling all current and alumni band members! Marion Days is coming up and we are returning to the parade this year! Practice will be on Thursday August 3 at 7pm and should last no more than an hour. If you are in need of an instrument, supplies, music, etc., please email Mrs. French ASAP efrench@marion.k12.mi.us Performance will be on the truck (no marching) for the parade on Saturday August 5. Wear your Marion band shirts and show your Eagle spirit!

SEEDS Marion students each created their own unique Spiderman character. They engaged in a creative writing class to write about the villains their character faces, what part of the multiverse they exist in, and many other creative details. All Spiderman costumes were donated by Merchandise Outlet in Cadillac along with over $500 dollars worth of arts and crafts materials. Thank you so much!

SPORTS PHYSICALS FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR: Sports physicals will take place at the high school on August 4th starting at 9AM. There is a $20 fee. Call the high school office to schedule an appointment. All athletes must have a current sports physical that has been conducted on or after April 15, 2023, on file in the high school office before they can participate in practices and contests.
