MPS would like to thank the Marion VFW post 6015 and Auxiliary for the replacement flags to be flown by the school! We appreciate it!

Remember our last day of school tradition? Staff lines the fence and sidewalk of schools and waves as the buses pull out to summer vacation. Fun for all! THIS YEAR WE ARE COMING TO YOU!! June 4 is our official last day of school. So our MPS staff will be leaving schools at 12:30 to come and wish you well for the summer break. (Although we hope you still get some reading, writing and skill practice in these months too.) We'll be traveling in buses, of course, out towards Dighton route, back through town, out through Bontekoe area route, to Strawberry Ave. route, to Temple area, back along Middle Branch routes. Watch FB and Marion app updates to know when we'll be in your area. Then come out and wave and cheer for a great summer!

Ladies and Gentlemen:
Please be advised there is no public meeting (Board Workshop) this evening. The regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting will still be held June 9th at 6 p.m. Thank You. - Chris Arrington

Senior Spotlight: Tim M.
Congratulations!

Folks,
My apologies! I so was excited to share the good news about the "Mifi" Boxes located throughout the district, I forgot to mention the most important part: HOW TO CONNECT! From your device, choose the "Marion" Connection. When prompted, the password is GoEagles. (No space, capital "G," and capital "E".
Thanks to those who let us know about my error. Enjoy!

There are some students who need a shout out this Friday:
Mrs. Mort would like to congratulate Rebecca S. and Emily C. for completing their work this week and Alekz R. for finishing an AimsWeb measurement assessment!
Mr. Keeler is celebrating with Malley R., Zach F. and Micheal H. as they just completed the "Edible Glue Design Challenge" for science. You can see Micheal's house in the photo. It must have been a delicious demolition!
Mrs. Deighton thanks sixth grader scientists, Mason C., Collin M., Jennifer F., and Cayden M. for sharing their species projects via Google Meet this week. Also, thank you to Mrs. Prielipp for attending too!
Nice job, students! We're on the home stretch. Thanks for you efforts in the final hour!

Senior Spotlight: Garrett Bell
Congratulations!

Plans for the Fall: She will be starting work
What she misses about high school: She misses hanging out with friends.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Tomorrow, May 28th, our teachers will be supplying our students with summer enrichment activities. Parents of 6-12 students can receive materials from any of our district lunch distribution centers. Our K-5 teachers will be on campus from 11am-6 pm.
As a note of good news, students may keep their chromebook at home throughout the summer. In fact, all K-12 students will be getting a new chromebook to keep at school in the fall. No more lugging them back and forth!
Finally, our district purchased mobile "Mifi" boxes and they work great! In addition to the Elementary and High School parking lots, community members can access free wifi at: Dighton Store, Redding Township Hall, Middle Branch Township Hall, Middle Branch store, Highland Township Hall, Wesleyan Church on 70th Avenue.
See You Tomorrow!

Some would say math and science are all about problems. Using IXL.com there are some kids tackling them! Mrs. Clark's fourth grade class has answered 25,000 math questions for this school year. Mrs. Quist's third graders have answered 500 science questions during our distance learning session. Great job using technology to your advantage to further your learning!!
