Not only is Mr. Henderson a Rock-Star of a teacher, but did you know he could be a real Rock-Star, too? Check out his song "Eagle Shuffle". EVERYONE wants to be a Marion Eagle these days! https://5il.co/gyhh

Fantastic Friday accomplishments from the final weeks of learning:
Mr. Keeler has Aiden H, Ashton M, Kollin L, Malley R, and Zach F. who completed their Engineering Design projects to which they were challenged to design and test an edible glue of their own design that was capable of holding together a graham cracker tower and supporting a spoon or fork to show some magnitude of strength. Here are some photos of their results.
Congratulations to Cayden M., sixth grader, who completed his second and final study path for 6th grade math in EdReady this week! (Side note: this program is open all summer to keep the math skills sharp for 4th-12th grade students. If you need a new goal key for a study path, you may email Mrs. Deighton.)
Congratulations to Elaina C., sixth grader, for winning the third and final leg of the Great Reading Race of 2020. It was fantastic to have this during our distance learning quarter; great job to all the sixth graders who participated!

This crew is a little tired and dusty but if you look at the smiles, they’re still wishing all a safe and enjoyable summer!! Thank you to the people and families who waved, made signs, and smiles back on our last day of school. We loved it! If you have pictures of this event, please feel free to post on the comments of any of the posts. ❤️🦅

“Real teens. Real issues.”
This group plans and leads awareness, prevention, and education events/projects throughout the entire year. Their main goal is to help their peers NOT get involved with risky behaviors (i.e. using alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, bullying, school violence, unhealthy relationships, distracted and/or impaired driving, etc.).
