Congratulations to Maddie Yowell and Stella Moore on their First Division ratings at Middle School Solo and Ensemble! They are now eligible for participation with MSBOA District 1 Honors Band in January!

Marion Fans! The football team will be leaving Friday morning at 8:30 to head to the State Championship game that is being played in Marquette at the Superior Dome on Saturday at 2:00. The team will be escorted through town by the Marion Community Fire Department. Line the streets and show our team our tremendous community support!

Attention Marion Public Schools Community! We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! Our football team has successfully made it to the State Championship Finals in Marquette, MI, and we want the entire Marion community to rally behind them. In celebration of this achievement, Marion Public Schools will have an "Early Release" day on Friday, November 17th. We encourage all students, parents, and staff to join us in supporting our team at the championship finals. Elementary School: Students will be released at 11:30 AM. High School: Students will be released at 11:20 AM. We understand the importance of community spirit, and we believe that being able to attend the championship game and cheer on our team is an invaluable experience for our students. One of our students won a costume contest sponsored by the Marion Fire Department. For their prize they were dropped off at school in a fire truck. Miss Umbreit’s class patiently waited for the arrival of their classmate and then were given a tour of the truck! Thank you, Marion Fire Department!

CTC Students of the First Quarter Ethan Teare( CTC Launch) and Mara Jolly (Business Management Administration) were selected as Students of the First Quarter in their respective CTC programs.

First round of Volleyball Districts are being held tonight, Monday, October 30th at 6:00, at McBain Northern Michigan Christian Schools. Marion will be playing NMC. Come out and support your Lady Eagles. Tickets are available through gofan and will not be sold at the door.

The final middle school and second to last Varsity race of the year had Marion Cross Country running in Mason County Eastern's forests and fields. While all of our runners ran extremely well, I want to focus on our middle school runners for this post. EVERY SINGLE MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETE RAN A PERSONAL RECORD!!! This is a huge accomplishment and a testament to their dedication to their sport, their team, and their school. I would also like to mention that, over the course of the season, the MS Team almost doubled in size from 4 at the beginning of the season to 7 by the end. This would not have happened without the positive attitudes and enthusiasm the MS Team exudes. What a great way to finish the MS season!
